The Air Jordan 7 is a very unique shoe in the Jordan line as well as a basketball shoe. The Air Jordan 7 featured Huarache technology which made the shoe really stick to your foot. The shoe was much lighter weight than some of the previous Air Jordans as well. The Air Jordan 7 was also unique in that it did not feature the “Nike Air” logo, a visible air unit, or clear soles.

Once again, designed by Tinker Hatfield, the shoe had something new. A neoprene sockliner was the first of its kind. The Air Jordan 7 was promoted in a marketing campaign in which Michael Jordan appeared with Bugs Bunny. Many collectors thought it was the greatest shoe ever, while many thought it was the worst shoe imaginable. None-the-less, it is still a very popular shoe and has a large following whenever re-released.Retro newsThe first retro release happened in December, 2002 but Nike is set to bring the Air Jordan 7 back again. In 2004, Nike re-released the Olympic colorway to celebrate the 2004 Athens Games. In 2006, Nike is set to bring back the White/Black-Cardinal Jordan 7’s as well as a handful of Retro+’s.
